28 Mar Blackberry Z10 Now Available With Telstra

If you’re eager to get your hands on Blackberry’s new touchscreen device, the Z10, the wait is over!

Telstra have announced that the Z10 is now available on a range of consumer and business plans.

The Z10, coupled with Blackberry’s new OS (Blackberry 10) and BES 10, offers a host of exciting features for the enterprise, that aims to tackle the issue of mobile device management head on.

With Blackberry Balance, the Z10 can become a device to be used for both work and personal endeavours, by splitting the OS into two completely separate profiles aptly named ‘Work’ and ‘Personal’. Because information cannot be transferred across profiles, IT can rest easy that corporate data is not at risk, while user’s get the best of both worlds by keeping pictures of kids and personal communications away from work.

The Blackberry 10 OS software has also introduced a radically different approach to the user interface than previous iterations of the Blackberry OS, with all communications handled in the one place, called Blackberry Hub. Blackberry Hub collates all updates from emails, to text messages, to social network updates, while including (of course) all BBM messages. The best thing about the BB Hub, is that it can be accessed anywhere in the OS, ensuring you are always kept up to date with your communication channels. Multitasking has also made an appearance, with the user able to use gestures to switch between or just glance at apps.
