Samsung has been an Olympic Games partner since 1998 and has played a communications role for every Olympic Games since.
An infographic created by Samsung has been released and shows what support Samsung provided for each Olympic Games. This includes more than 14,000 phones to Olympic officials at the 2004 Athens Olympics, the Galaxy S3 as the official phone of the 2012 London Olympics and around 3000 athletes receiving the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
The 2016 Rio Olympics are mentioned though only hints at releasing Samsung’s next innovations.
