Most of us would have experienced those pesky and incessant calls from telemarketers, SPAM SMS and calls from people you’d prefer to avoid. What if there was a way to block these annoying, unwanted and unwarranted calls and messages? Many of you would jump at the chance to free your phone from these less than desirable forms of communication, clearing the path to receive calls and messages that you actually want.
Call Blocker
Call Blocker by NQ Mobile Inc. is a free app for devices running Android that blocks unwanted calls and protects your privacy. The app offers a fairly comprehensive list of features, which range from blocking calls & SMS to communication history.

The Mr. Number app is also a free app, which provides similar functionality to that of Call Blocker with the addition of free messaging to contacts (using Mr. Number) and delivery and read receipt.
