13 Oct Sony Announces the Latest Xperia Smartphone Range
The latest Xperia range has been announced from Sony and will be available from this month. The line up includes the Xperia Z5, the Xperia Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium.
Stand out features include a blistering 23 megapixel camera, two day battery life and a weatherproof design.
Xperia Z5 Features
Here is a list of impressive features found in the Xperia Z5 line up:
Two-day battery life
More power from a single charge, lasting up to two days. When power is getting low just 10 minutes of charging on Quick Charge will provide hours of power. Get more power to enjoy your phone longer.
Stunning camera
A large 23 megapixel image sensor delivers smooth, clear images with realistic colours and less noise. The Xperia smartphone is in essence a Sony digital camera, with an award winning lens, incredible sensor for low light and a dedicated button for taking pictures.
Eye-Catching Design
A slim and balanced design offers simplicity in a light and tactile unit. Smooth metal and frosted glass feel soft while also being strong. A new power button on the side of the phone also doubles as a fingerprint scanner for easy unlocking.
Innovative Weather Protection
IP65 and IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance mean being caught out in the rain is not a problem. Washing dirt and sand from the device is easy with a quick rinse off with water.

Even your old photos and videos will be upscaled to 4K through Sony’s X-Reality mobile engine, reducing noise, optimising colours, and boosting sharpness and contrast.
The Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact will be available through Telstra after October 27th. Telstra has not yet announced the release date of the Xperia Z5 Premium though is likely to be in November.
